Meizu has officially entered the flagship market for 2023. The company recently unveiled its Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Infinity, in a bid to conquer the preference of users in a crowded market. Meizu was once one of the most popular smartphone makers in China. However, it lost some relevancy amidst the rise of giants like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and etc. The company’s recent acquisition by Geely raised hopes for a comeback. We don’t know if the new flagships are meeting all the expectations, but they are efficient flagships with a gorgeous style. It appears that Meizu is planning to introduce a new color option to maintain interest in the device.
Meizu 20 new white color is on the way
To recall, the Meizu 20 arrived in four distinct colors – Rose Gold, Yellow, Mint, and Dark Gray. The higher-end models also got a Silver edition, and it seems that the vanilla will soon get the same treatment. As per a new leak from tipster Ice Universe, there is a new Meizu 20 color coming with a gorgeous white display frame. The images show that the phone can be different from what we have on the Pro and Infinity. Just like the great majority of modern smartphones, they have black bezels on the display. This new color appears to come with white display bezels. This is not a new thing, but when we grow tired of all phones looking the same, it looks like something fresh.

Right now, we can say if this is a new color or a special version. In any case, it seems to be a nice color that will look different amidst devices that are too similar. We will have to wait and see what Meizu has in tow for this possible new color option. Will it be widely available or just in a limited quantity? Unfortunately, we will have to wait to get those answers.
As we’ve told Meizu has been recently acquired by the automaker Geely. The company has plans to integrate the brand with its vehicles, with one good example being the Flyme for Auto software experience. We won’t be surprised if we start to see a more aggressive approach in the smartphone scene. Geely may be interested in investing more to make Meizu a “more relevant” player in the smartphone industry. Anyway, we will need to wait and see if that is the case.

The Meizu 20 packs a 6.55-inch OLED with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and 144Hz refresh rate. The device packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and has up to 12 GB of RAM with up to 512 GB of Internal Storage. In terms of optics, the phone has a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 16 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5 MP macro snapper. One interesting feature is the Ring-LED flash to assist with dark environments. The phone draws its power from a huge 4,700 mAh battery with 68W wired charging support.
