Key details about the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition smartphone’s battery unit and fast charging specifications have surfaced online.

iQOO is on the verge of unveiling the Neo 7 Racing Edition smartphone. The Neo 7 lineup currently comprises the Neo 7 and the Neo 7 SE.

The Indian variant of the Neo 7 SE will probably carry the Neo 7 5G moniker. It is likely to hit the store shelves in the country in 2023.

In the meantime, the Neo 7 Racing Edition is headed to the Chinese market. iQOO will launch the latest Neo 7 series smartphone in China on December 29.

The Neo 7 Racing Edition will sit above the Neo 7 SE. Also, it will pack premium hardware under the hood. To recap, the Neo 7 SE went official earlier this month.

The company has already revealed many key details about the Neo 7 Racing Edition. First, iQOO has confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The premium iQOO phone will get flagship-grade hardware. Moreover, the handset will use a 5000mAh battery to draw its juices. This cell supports 120W fast charging.

The proprietary charging tech takes just eight minutes to charge the phone’s battery from 1 to 50 percent. Also, iQOO has confirmed the handset will come with a new Pro+ display chip.

Aside from this, the color schemes of the Neo 7 Racing Edition have appeared in a teaser video (via 91mobiles). Tipster Mukul Sharma shared this teaser.

So, the Neo 7 Racing Edition will be available in three color options. These include Saffron, Deep Teal, and Turquoise. However, iQOO might use different names for these colorways. Moreover, iQOO might reveal other key details about the Racing Edition ahead of its launch.
