According to Apple analyst Min-Chin Kuo, the iPhone 16 Pro models will offer “larger display sizes and periscope camera sensors.” He says that the Pro model will sport a 6.3-inch panel while the Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch screen. These numbers represent a 0.2-inch increase over the current iPhone 14 Pro phones.

The larger size of the iPhone 16 Pro models is expected to allow Apple’s engineers to incorporate upgraded cameras into them. Min-Chin Kuo says that the phones will pack a periscope lens. They will reportedly offer up to 5-6x optical zoom. He also mentioned that Cowell E Holdings would supply these lenses.

Current rumors say that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may also feature a periscope lens. But, the regular iPhone 15 Pro is not expected to get a notable upgrade in this regard. The display size of the model might be limiting the engineers from integrating the lens. But we are expecting Apple to offer other notable updates to make the phone stand out from iPhone 14 Pro.

Nonetheless, iPhone 16 Pro series is also rumored to feature an under-display face ID solution. If that happens, users should get an immersive full-view experience from the display.
